Anna and I are passionate collectors of African Art and anything that comes from that continent, Egyptian or Congolese. We have been collecting the African art for some time. Our collection started over twenty years ago and since then it just slowly got biger. We love every piece in our collection no matter how old they are. Wood is perishable product, especially when exposed to environment in Africa it can perish in a very short time and don't have to be necessary "old" to look like an ancient carving or a mask. It also depends on what part of the continent it originated from. Some areas are more merciful then others. A lot modern artists, tribal members continue to step into their predecessors shoes to create today’s art and expressing them self’s. Some of them became famous and others will just make living from that trade.

We welcome every visitor to our website, which was created with purpose to share our collection with you. We appreciate any feedback or suggestions. If you find any item being miss categorized or wrongfully described, please do not hesitate and let us know. There are also some items, that we did not find any reliable source to describe them, so if anyone have any valuable information about them, please let us know.

many of the necklaces and majority bead work was added by Anna for decorative purpose (beading is her hobby and she like to decorate the figures with them).
